Its state-of-the-art Symbol SE-955 Class-2 laser scanner engine SD Scan Card 3P reads damaged, poor quality and hard-to-read barcodes, even on curved and reflective surfaces and in dim environments. The device requires no extra batteries or special power adapters, since it draws power from the host handheld mobile device. The SocketScan keyboard emulation software sends decoded data to any Windows or Palm applications as virtual keystrokes. It can automatically add prefix/suffix functions, such as Carriage Return and Tab, to further eliminate manual keystrokes. SD Scan Card 3P can even add time and date stamps.
