The GV-EM130DD-80 is a cost effective digital video recorder that supports a removable hard disk drive and is equipped with a compact flash memory slot. LAN connectivity is standard in the GV-EM130 series and it also features smooth motion and clear playback. The units come bundled with DVR reader software that allows you to view DVR video on a PC. By taking out the removable hard drive and placing it in a PC that is equipped with a removable hard-drive bay (removable hard-drive bay is not included with the GV-EM130DD), the DVR reader software will playback video directly from the removable HD. The DVR reader software can also save images as AVI, MPEG, or BMP files. The Heart-beat rebooting feature makes the unit rock solid reliable in the event of recovering after a system-halt.
