The 880 Series, designed for Panasonic Security System products, is capable of transmitting eight channels of high-quality video on one multimode optical fiber. Additionally, two sub-carriers can be added to each video channel using the 500 Series modulators and demodulators. The system requires no field adjustments at installation or additional maintenance and is designed to be completely transparent to all camera and monitor manufacturers. A quick visual indication of system status is also provided by diagnostic indicators. Equipment may be mounted as stand alone modules or rack units by the position of the mounting brackets.
