The Motorola AP7181 expands on existing technology standards. The AP7181 features 2.4 GHz and 5.x GHz radios that support 3x3 MIMO (Multiple Input Multiple Output) technology reaching a maximum data rate of 300 Mbps. Motorola's high performance radios coupled with 40MHz channel widths allow the AP7181 to be a key component in the most robust installations available. Routing processes are maximized by Motorola's MeshConnex Software which provides efficient routing, low latency, low routing overhead, high-speed handoffs and proven scalability. Also, the unit's design makes installation on buildings, roof tops and light poles simple. These technologies, combined with the ease of use of Motorola products such as the AP7181 indoor access point, create the industry leading solution for continuous coverage throughout a campus or an entire city.
