The Intermec Sabre 1551E is the first Sabre Handheld Scanner capable of consistently reading both linear and PDF417 codes at high speed. The 1551E is an impressive combination of comfort durability and performance. And of course the E stands for easy setup with Intermec's EasySet configuration software free of charge. Boasting plenty of rubber and a protected window the 1551E can withstand repeated drops of up to 183cm (6feet) wind and rain off road vehicle vibration levels and below freezing temperatures. Standard range for the 1551E includes reading as small as 5mil code or 100 mil reflective code. Choose the advanced long range model to read distances up to 8.1m (27ft). The high speed laser scanner engine reads linear and PDF417 barcodes for increased flexibility and productivity. You won't waste time getting started. Just point and click to print a barcode that configures you scanner with a single scan. Using EasySet setup software any member of your organization can configure the 1551E.
