The M5900i features 32MB RAM/16MB flash ROM memory (with 10MB of user-available non-volatile memory), a rapid 200 MHz ARM9 processor, a rechargeable Lithium-Ion battery, a backup lithium battery, large graphical backlit LCD display, and your choice of 55-key alphanumeric or 35-key numeric keypad. It also comes with a SQLite database engine for powerful handling of data files. The M5900i also features a forward-scanning pistol grip handle and protective rubber boot that enhances the drop rating to 5 ft. (1.5m) onto concrete.
